Here’s a picture of Ladies Knight from the bout a couple of weeks ago, showboating towards the end. At first, I didn’t really like the name “Union Squares” meaning the geometric shapes, but it’s grown on me. Plus, the other team, the Coney Island Freakshow, thinks their name is the shit, but I think our uniforms and such came out better, it wasn’t as easy, and it’s fun to flaunt a ridiculous name. We’re also the better home team, in my very subjective opinion. Now I know how the women feel playing intraleague bouts feel. It’s a different type of intensity.

i’m still getting used to intraleague play. i can’t believe how different it is from interleague!

also, union squares is totally the better team name.
